GROUP THERAPY

Autism Spectrum Group for Teenagers ages 10-17. This session provides opportunities for children with similar diagnosis to share their struggles and to learn social skills to strengthen their coping mechanisms with their peers in their neighborhoods, schools, etc.

PLAY THERAPY

By their very nature, children want a space to play and be themselves. We provide that environment for children to express themselves and not be restricted by any mental condition so that they can revel in their childhood and grow up in a healthy environment. Play is very crucial to a child’s growth. We want children to learn in ways that take into account their ages and personalities. Children are always welcome in our clinic. In Family Friendly Psychological Services, P.C, we utilize developmentally appropriate activities to engage children. We recognize that children are the future of our society and we must give them appropriate tools for their growth and future.

PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL THERAPY: “Psychoeducational evaluation is a process by which a trained professional works with those involved in a child’s learning or development to identify the child’s strengths and weaknesses. Its goal is to enhance everyone’s ability to help the child be as successful as possible.  People involved in the process often include you, your child, your child’s teachers and, possibly, even your child’s pediatrician” (www.https://afsa.org/).

COUPLE’S/RELATIONSHIP THERAPY: This session provides ample opportunity for a couple to look at each other, appreciate each other and utilize the opportunity to build their marriage and make it stronger. We help couples to build their relationship and analyze their stumbling blocks and stepping stones in their marriage/relationship.
